e-bike riders in Canada are now be able to rent batteries for their bikes. This new service helps riders who want to travel via planes with their e-bike and removes the hassle of transporting or buying extra batteries.

How it works
- Check out our range of batteries available
- Complete our Booking form (or pre-booking for NZ)
- You will receive a Booking confirmation.
- Pack your bike, battery fittings, charger & gear.
- Collect your battery in Whistler or have it shipped to an address in Canada for your arrival.
- Shred!
- Return battery to Whistler or drop it off at a shipping location (shipping preorganized).
Key Details
- Canada-wide shipping – launched in Whistler, with plans for further expansion.
- 5am to 11pm pickup in Whistler – a convenient location for riding in the Sea to Sky.
- Major brand compatibility – supporting a wide range of eMTB’s and adaptive mountain bikes aMTB’s. Tell us what you want and we will try and stock it!
- Chargers and hard wear are not provided – riders must bring their own chargers.
- Buy & sell-back options – available for rentals of more than three weeks.

Pete Tongue, a passionate Whistler-based mountain biker, founded curRENT eMTB. curRENT seeks to meet the needs of traveling e-bike riders.
